“I was standing amongst 500 thousand people with snapped undies”
It’s nearly midnight, you’re lying in bed trying to fall asleep, then, out of the blue, you remember the cringe-worthy day you managed to somehow exit the bathroom and walk around the shopping centre with your skirt half tucked into your knickers. #facepalm
No matter how perfect you might be, it’s safe to say that we’ve all encountered our own embarrassing moment(s) that will forever (let me emphasise that again – FOREVER) haunt us; and this applies to even the biggest names out there.
Don’t believe us? Just hear them out.
“At the top of the list just recently I was in Palm Springs at Coachella and I had a pair of nude micro fibre briefs on. Joel and I were walking to get food; I went one way and he went the other and as I was lining up for food I kind of pulled my briefs up by the side and they snapped!
“I was literally standing amongst 500,000 people with snapped briefs thinking do I let them fall to the ground and step out hoping no one sees? Or do I hold on to one side and just pray they don’t fall below the mini dress I had on? I went with option two and when I found Joel he had to tie them back together. I’m laughing at it now but in the moment it wasn’t good.”
“I remember camping one week at the beach and having new board shorts – I was a teenager and still self-conscious so refused to swim without covering my thighs.
“These board shorts weren’t cut well and the inner lining created such a bad rash between my thighs that I had to walk bow legged for the rest of the trip. I forever skipped the board shorts after that.”
“Without a doubt, my most embarrassing fashion moment was when I did my first catwalk show; in fact it was my first modelling experience. Excited to be with my model peers at a pre Fashion Week model preview, I did not realise I was going to have to walk down the catwalk in a white singlet top and boy leg undies emblazoned with the sponsors logo on the back.
“At 15-years-old it was quite a surreal experience because I was on the runway with the likes of Miranda Kerr, Catherine McNeil and Abbey Lee so I felt a little more at ease that everyone was in the same situation. There were 80 girls in the show, they all looked after me and looking back it was a fun moment in time.”
While you’re here, these real life stories of the rudest thigs guests have done at weddings will shock you. And if that doesn’t shock you, these strange real-life stories of things that have happened at the gym definitely will.
